Nanny Selection and Placement
Caring Hands Agency has developed a 3-step
process in which the client has a one-on-one
consultation, a series of interviews, and a personal
selection of a permanent and consistent caregiver to
fill the family's needs.
Professional
nannies are trained professionals with a minimum of 3
years experience and must have been an in-home nanny for
at lease one family with at least two excellent
references. Caring Hands will conduct the initial (first)
interview. A biography is provided for possible
candidates for your position for your review at which
time you decide what candidates you wish to see. On average, nanny placements occur
within 3 weeks. Minimum salary requirements based
on typical nanny week (minimum 50 hours).

years experience with excellent references:
$450 and up per week. |

$500 and up per week. |

years experience with excellent references:
$550 and up per week. |
Salaries
are based on Net earnings for "live-out"
basis. "Live-in" rates can vary and can
be discussed in detail at the time of your assessment. Traditionally the
employer pays withholding taxes and Social
Security. Other benefits such as insurance, nanny vehicle,
mobile phone, bonuses, gas, are optional and can be
negotiated.
A nanny's
first obligation is to the child(ren) receiving
care. Any household duties are considered extra
and should be kept to a minimum. Some applicants
will be glad to help with duties, just be prepared to be
on the high end of the scale in salary.

New
Clients - To become a Caring Hands Agency
client you must complete the Client Registration
Packet which includes Client
Registration Agreement. Please contact
us to discuss your needs and complete the
registration process.
Placement
Process - The
Placement Process is available for Clients who desire
the committed services of a specific caregiver of their
own selection and is describe in full in the Client
Registration Agreement.
Caring Hands Agency has developed a unique three-part
process for assisting clients in their caregiver search
that is both effective and affordable. This
placement process pertains only to nanny opportunities
that are a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The
Needs Assessment/Search Process. To
begin the search, a Needs Assessment is made by
the Caring Hands Agency Assessment
Counselor during a
personal interview with the client. The
Client is also provided with the "How to Hire
a Caregiver" kit developed by Caring Hands
Agency. The fee for this part of the process
is $325.00, payable at the time of the needs
assessment appointment. The fee includes
automatic registration for the Temporary
Sitting Service (a $50.00 value). |

The
Search Process. After the Placement
Counselor completes the Needs Assessment, we will
review the pool of caregivers for the two or three
candidates most likely to match the profile
generated by the Client. Caring Hands Agency
maintains, and
continuously solicits additions to, its pool of
caregivers and is highly effective in identifying
the best of the best in the market place. The Placement Counselor
prescreens the caregivers and discusses the
possibilities with the Client. Caring Hands
Agency then provides the Client with the qualified
candidates biographies for interview selection. |

The
Selection. When the Client desires to
select a particular caregiver, the terms and
conditions of employment are negotiated with the
caregiver. Once this is accomplished, the
Client notifies the Assessment Counselor and
executes the Selection Confirmation form.
The fee for the Selection is $1,175.00 and is
payable prior to the caregiver beginning work.
This fee compensates Caring Hands Agency for its
efforts in the search process and for the release
of a proprietary asset from its pool of
caregivers. The Client continues to be
registered for the Temporary Service,
which can be utilized in the event that a
caregiver needs time off or is terminated.
If the Client is unsatisfied with the selection
for any reason, additional selections may be made
at no extra cost if within 90 days of the original
placement date or at half-placement-fee within
91-180 days. |
